Salve: The Big Debate

I know people are kept up at night wondering how to actually pronounce the word "salve". Well, believe it or not, I've run into many many situations where people think I'm crazy because I don't pronounce the 'l' in the word salve. In fact, I had a debate with Rachael & Elisabeth last night so I finally looked it up on dictionary.com. And...drum roll...I win! It is pronounce: [sav, sahv].
